2017 Volvo S90 Interior, Engine and Design - Swedish car manufacturer Volvo is well-known in the world and one of the best when it comes to safety and luxury cars. Their flagship S80 until now was built on a front wheel drive platform. It succeeded the old 960 which in turn named S90 near its termination date. ENGINE horsepower

Engine wise, in 2017 Volvo S90 will most probably use the same engine as in the XC90 SUV, so expect the same 2-liter turbocharged and supercharged inline 4 in the basic version, the machine is quite capable with the expected output of more than 300 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. A better choice might be a hybrid that still use the same gasoline engines but also add an electric motor which is able to increase the total output of over 400 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque which is very impressive considering how small the machine I s.

All of these engines will be offered as standard with eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive is necessary given the power of 2-liter mill.
