2017 Lotus Exige Sport 350 Redesign Exterior Interior - Lotus seems to make a decent comeback today. 2016 Geneva Motor Show to see the car debut performance open-top, lightweight version of the Exige Coupe, which itself debuted near the end of 2015.

Lotus Exige has not messed with the powertrain's, save for a new six-speed manual transmission that is said to provide better temporary shift, of course, cut weight. For those who want some legacy injected, Lotus offers a slim package that adds optional sport seats and door panels covered in classic Lotus colors.

Exterior

This Exige seen no drastic change in the transformation to a roadster. Obviously the top of the roof can be removed, allowing for open-road experience, but on the contrary, Exige Roadster Spot 350 looks largely the same as the 350 Sport Coupe. There are some differences, however. Especially is the design of the rear wing. Roadster no longer has a bottom fin-connect at the end of each wing.

Otherwise, this Exige cabin is a wonderful place to sit. Three-spoke steering wheel, gauge cluster is simple, and of course, that the manual transmission shifter to expose its relationship darn close to the artwork.

Drivetrain

Prefer not to change Roadster powertrain Exige Sport 350. It still uses the same Toyota Toyota -sourced, supercharged, 3.5-liter V-6. Mid-mounted engine produces a healthy 345 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The price for the Exige Sport 350 Roadster starts at € 62,185, or $ 67,400 at current exchange rates. That's actually not a terrible problem, given the nature of the track-focused cars. Then again, the convenience comes second, at best. Even the air conditioning is an option.
